Seunghwan (Alex) Ju is a senior student pursuing a film degree at LMU. Born in Korea and having lived in China and the U.S., Alex's experiences across cultures have significantly impacted his view of the world. Drawing inspiration from his journey navigating multiple identities and environments, he adopted a unique perspective on themes of identity, transformation, and connection. Specializing in post-production, Alex believes that the true rhythm of a film emerges during the editing process, where pacing and sound can elevate even the simplest stories into impactful experiences. He also believes in the power of quiet/unspoken moments, resonating with the audiences on a personal level. His goal as a filmmaker is to create works that challenge the audience to reconsider the ordinary and find empathy in everyday moments.
